Cut straight from my profile...
After beating Sheff Wed 5-1 back in 1997, my brother, my Dad and I, having spent an hour in the 66 club getting pissed with David Essex, ran onto the pitch to re-create our favourite moments in front of the (old) North Bank. My brother re-inacted the statuesque defending of Colin Foster, I slowly trudged back onside pulling a pained expression a la Iain Dowie and the old man walked, head bowed and in tears, towards the tunnel like a young Allen McKnight.

I loved 96/97!
*Waves Euro '96 flag*
Fantastic wins over Spurs and Chelsea under the Boleyn lights (when it was still a half-decent ground).
Hartson and Kitson turning around a despairing first half of the season for us.
Dicksy's last decent season for us before his career-ending injury.
That penalty Vs Man Utd at Home (2-2 draw after being 0-2 down). Fantastic.
5-1 win at Home to Sheff Wed with a Kitson hat-trick.
Good memories of that season.

It was freezing that day. Pretty sure both Rieper and Ludo just stood there as the Forest player ran in and scored.
Stand out game for me had to be the Spurs home game.

1st January 1997at home to Forest.
It was fucking cold, West Ham were rubbish and lost 1-0.
The only positive note for the whole day was the thermos of hot chocolate that I took into the ground.
It was a TRIUMPH in those freezing conditions.

Away at Coventry was a brilliant day. Rio scoring and doing his weird dance right in front of us.

Season ticket in the BML
Real sense of hope and anticipation at the start of the season given the signings quickly giving way to the usual sense of dread mixed with supreme highs and a classic get out of jail relegation fight.
